03030BXN     Switch Fabric Unit         SFUA0s are no longer manufactured and are unavailable for the ME60-16 running V600R002. When an SFUA0 that has already been installed on an ME60-X3 fails, an SFUA1 can be used to replace the faulty SFUA0; if the SFUA0 is to be replaced with an SFUG1, software of the ME60-16 needs to be upgraded to V600R002 or later.

03030GFW    Switch Fabric Unit         ME01SFUA1 (SFUA1) (03030GFW) is not a preferred board in V600R002. The SFUA1 is developed based on the ME01SFUA0 in V100R005; therefore, the SFUA1 is compatible to the SFUA0. In addition, the system synchronous clock module is added to the SFUA1. The SFUA1 exchanges data at the line rate between 16 OC-192c user interfaces. The switching capacity is 640 Gbit/s and the user interface capacity is 320 Gbit/s.

An SFUA1 can be inserted to the BSUF-10 or MSUF-10, not the BSUF-21, BSUF-40, MSUF-21, or MSUF-40. Three or four SFUA1s are provided for an ME60-16. Installing four SFUFs on an ME60-16 is recommended. If there is one SFUA1, it is installed in either slot 21 or 22, two SFUA1s use slots 21 and 22, and if a third board is installed, it is in either slot 19 or 20.

It is preferred. The SFUG1 is developed for V600R002 and applies to an ME60-16. The SFUG1 is installed in the SFU slot of the chassis. The SFUG1 uses new switching chipsets, and exchanges data at the line rate between 16 OC-768c user interfaces. The switching capacity is 2.56 Tbit/s and the available user interface capacity is 1.28 Tbit/s.

The boards with fixed interfaces, such as BSU/MSU, BSUF-10, MSUF-10, BSUF-21, MSUF-21, BSUF-40, and MSUF-40 support SFUG1s. The SFUG1 of V600R002 allows the interconnection between a 10 Gbit/s LPU and a 20 Gbit/s LPU. Three or four SFUG1s are provided for an ME60-16. Installing four SFUG1s on an ME60-16 is recommended. If there is one SFUG1, it must be installed in either slot 21 or 22, two boards must use slots 21 and 22, and if a third board is installed, it must be in either slot 19 or 20. The SFUG1 is mandatory for the ME60-16 installed with the BSUF-21 or MSUF-21, and the ME60-16 that will be installed with the BSUF-21, MSUF-21, BSUF-40, or MSUF-40 after upgrade.
